Responsibilities | -Responsible to model and support the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission in Catholic and Lasallian higher education. -The successful candidate will teach 24 credit hours per year. Teach a variety of courses for our undergraduate and graduate students, including in our various graduate programs.-Service and professional development |
Minimum Qualifications | A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering is required. The ideal candidate will be a skillful and enthusiastic teacher to our undergraduate students in Computer Science and Computer Engineering, and one who is willing to work with them not only in the classroom but out of it, including on research projects and computer-science related extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will also possess the knowledge needed to help create and teach courses in our various successful graduate programs, including the Master of Science degrees in Computer Science, Data Science, and Information Security. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a record of coursework and scholarship in computer networking, cyber security, data science and/or embedded computing. Excellence in teaching and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students in a variety of formats including traditional, online and blended courses. |
